I know, I know.....

it's been a long time since I last posted ---- but there's news!  I've been home today and got to play with some new software and it's been lots of fun creating an Download innerwealth1.mp3 audio podcast.  It's short (only 32 seconds) and goes hand in hand with the work I do at difficultchild.com .  Turned out pretty good and I've been hoping to get a few people to "test" it to see how it works....so thus you're now here because you got an email from me to come over!  LOL 

Yes, I'm still doing a bit of stitching here and there and enjoying the time doing so in the evenings.  I think T has been pleasantly surprised to see that I haven't been "glued" to the computer for the last couple of weeks during the evening.  The baby afghan is coming along as are several other small pieces.  I finished appliquing some grass on one of the wall hangings and I'm cutting the binding for a quilt this evening and in hopes to be stitching it down by tomorrow afternoon.

It's stake conference weekend.  We'll be participating in a regional broadcast on Sunday....tomorrow are regular meetings in the afternoon and evening.  I am looking forward to attending and spending some more time with T. 

Well, time for blogging is done.  I've got a couple of quick internet chores to attend to and dinner to get on the table.  Make it a great day to nurture your heart! 

Home again & settled in....

well, at least I think I've come back down to earth a bit!  I'm still working two jobs --- but that's only temporary, at least until the first of March.  We've had to adjust things a bit.  No impending move --- and that's ok too.  There are a few things we'd still like to do here.  T is even thinking that a veggie garden will be a priority this spring.  I'm thinking raised beds sound perfect and would look wonderful over in the side yard. 

UPDATES:  C and A are moving to their first duty station at Ft. Campbell.  They're spending the night here and begin the drive east tomorrow.  We're excited and nervous for them as they begin this new adventure in married life and as a couple. 

T gave D a promise ring today.  She's all a twitter!  Could the "M" word be far behind?  We had a lovely time with them last evening.  They treated us to dinner at Shogun, a Japanese restaurant.  They cook hibachi style right at your table.  It was fun and the food was GREAT!

I've got another "finish" for the year!  It's another Nancy Halverson design, When there's love....  The buttons are from my stash -- nothing fancy.  Still think I might do a little more embellishing, but I do like it. 

    for some reason the fusible web didn't fuse properly.  ERGGGHHHH!  I hate it when it does that.  At any rate, I've got two more kits to do.

The Valentine swaps are done.  I had lots of fun getting goodies for the packets that went to the Crafting Corner swap group.  I got the cutest coaster from the CraftyOkies group.  There's a cute poem in the card as well.  Well, time to pick up some knitting needles and start another row on the baby afghan.
