Seems July sped by so quickly being wrapped up in pre-wedding activities for DS#4 and more. WE did spend a wonderful weekend near the banks of the Mississippi in Nauvoo IL earlier this month and witnessed the marriage of our son and his beautiful bride in the Nauvoo Temple. We enjoyed visiting with family and meeting our daughter in law's extended family and seeing our delightful and active youngest grandson, now nearing the 9 month mark! What fun! There are a few pictures posted on facebook as well as in the photobucket account -- so don't forget to check out those past emails we sent out with those links! We were also able to squeeze in two nights at the Pageant! The weather was great and the performances excellent. We also enjoyed visiting with the actos who portrayed a few of my ancestors who lived in Nauvoo before they were expelled. How cool was that? The newly weds are settling into their new apartment in married housing and getting back into the schedule of college courses, work and more!
***Our card making get-togethers have increased in frequency - 2 Saturdays a month and every Wednesday evening - Many of the gals have commented on how wonderful the "nurturing" makes them feel and how their own feelings of being creative and extending those new found feelings of GREATNESS into the outer rings of their circle of influence has made some significant differences in their homes and beyond. Yah! I love how the Nurtured Heart Approach is so applicable in ever facet of our lives and beings.
The Nurtured Heart Fall 1 day workshops are just around the corner and its nearly time to begin the final process of making sure everything is ready for the presentors and their September travels. Pennsylvania, Missouri and Kansas are the sites for the September series! Details will be on the calendar at the top of the page shortly and are already listed at energyparenting.com so be sure to check them out.
