Today's nurturing moment:
You can love and respect yourself without judgement, resentment or expectations, and you can make the choice to do it in each and every moment, starting now. -- Howard Glasser
We make choices every day -- often before we even get out of bed in the mornings. What kinds of choices are you making from this moment forward?
Ted and I enjoyed a nice evening out at a local restaurant. Fun and more fun! And we got a sneak peek at some new summer dishes the restaurant will be offering in just a little bit. YUMMY! I think I'm going to be thinking of ways to have dinner out a little more often! It was a great way to relax after a busy day for both of us.
Being a bit on the sleepless side this morning, I decided I needed to get started on a couple of cards that have been running in my head for a couple of days. The original idea is in this month's edition of Simply Handmade and one that my friend Dayna sent me via chat the other evening.
the "pear" template is found in Simply Handmade, papers from GinaK, a lined notebook paper, stamp and ink from SU - I also used punch from SU on the upper edge. The sunflower is made from the large and small ovals and the 1 3/4 circle punch from SU. I used the same stamp for the backgound on lined notebook paper; ink and stamp, SU; corner rounder.
This is the sum total of anything creative over the past few days. I was hoping to to accomplish more, but yesterday's efforts on getting a website up and running didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped and anticipated. Oh well. We're going to try that form again this morning and hope for the best!
Peg arrives this afternoon for a couple of days. We're looking forward to some working time on our book project. I know we'll get a lot done. Yep! It will happen! SWEET!
Have a fab day! Oh --
I found this today in my inbox...too cute not to snag! And you can find all the details at Bakerella's blog: http://bakerella.blogspot.com/2009/06/fast-food-fun.html
