Today's nurturing moment:
Vision is the art of seeing things invisible. --Johnathan Swift
This thought really caught my eye this morning. Why? We have so many opportunities to see great things, but how often are they overlooked or not given credit for? There's always something good, great or fabulous happening around us -- acknowledge it!
It's been on the stormy side here this morning. A couple of power bumps, lots of lightning and thunder the past couple of hours. We've had to power everything down -- there's a lull at the moment, so I'm back online and trying to get as much accomplished as I can.
We had a pretty good weekend... and even took a few minutes to check out the changes in the garden!
overpowering the cornder are the squash plants. There's even a couple of little peppers on the jalepeno plant to the right of the squash. YAY! Ted was really exicted to see that find!
we might have some beans in a week or two too! SWEET! The peas took a hit with all the rain, but we may get a spattering of them - if the heat doesn't get them first. Expecting temps in the high 90's this week - and if the humidity continues they'll wither.
We even found a few blossoms on the tomatoes! YAY! I'm looking forward to a fresh, vine ripened tomato and maybe even splurging on an old summer favorite of a BLT!
Have a GREAT day!
