I missed the storm last week -- but reports are there are still a few reminders lingering. I wonder if there will be anything left by the time I get home on Thursday evening. Heard too that there were some frozen "frogs" -- not literally, it's a term used by the forecasters for freezing fog in our neck of the woods. They even issued a weather statement:
Subject: Severe Weather Bulletin for Oklahoma County
Issued at: 3:32 AM CST 2/2/10, expires at: 4:45 AM CST 2/2/10
freezing frog advisory is cancelled
The NWS in norman has cancelled the freezing frog advisory.
Although there will continue to be some freezing frog sightings through
mid-morning across much of Oklahoma, and western north Texas,
significant visibility reduction is not anticipated and with
temperatures at or slightly above freezing, light icing on the frogs are
not expected.

Photos from the last two weeks are finally loaded on the computer and it's been fun to look through them. Now if my phone would just cooperate! LOL It's not wanting to send them - new pictures of our 4th grandchild, winter landscapes, flowers and more. oh, well, we'll get it worked out soon.
The Scottsdale branch of the family have been busy with their new vinyl cutter -- websearches for cuttable fonts -- played with the programs, figuring the ins and outs of the cutter and how it works with each program - cutting and weeding, cutting some more. They have learned that the cutter is finicky, it has to be loaded just so or the vinyl slips. Speed and force need to be reset everytime you turn it on. It has it's quirks but when it works, the cut is awesome!
Today's been relatively quiet -- been looking at some of the "cuts" I've been creating and looking to tweak a few for additional use on alternative items when I get home and can fire up the cricut again. There are a few other things that will have to come first, but I may try to sneak in one late evening of cutting...
Also did a bit of blurfing earlier -- funny story on Jan Tink's site about lost socks -- boy, did I have a chuckle or two. Remember the basket/box solely devoted to single socks, kids? LOL Not only does she have a fabulous sense of humor, but her stamping and art are always easy on the eye!
Guess that's just about it for now... still more than 250 pictures to resize.
To your greatness in the journey! Have a blessed week!
