It doesn't seem like there's been much of a break lately. Rain and more rain. Severe weather and more - just lots going on...last week it was twirlies and rain. I think we were all grateful that we were blessed to still have a roof over our heads, electricity and know that our family and friends were all safe. Our circumstances could have changed in mili-seconds.
The weather continues to be crazy again today -- a bit on the severe side - with some hail and damaging winds. We missed the hail - not being home from church when it came through just a bit earlier. I do appreciate technology and having dopplar radar available via the internet - it's been invaluable in watching and keeping an eye on things especially during the wee hours if the weather radio goes off.
Yesterday was crafting day -- I've been able to do a little blurfing over the last couple of weeks and found a few cards to case and play with. What fun! Though we missed a few of our friends who weren't able to join us.
this and the next card are cased from Becky Robert's website -- http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com. Cardstock, ribbon, main stamps, SU! Letter stamp, CTMH and eyelets, PC.
This is a card I found on Lisa Young's blog -- She used some softer colors, but I thought I would try some brights and see how it would work. Kind of interesting -- I used the crop-o-dile and crystal effects to make my pseudo-brads. All the stamps used are SU -- 4 different sets, using this year's In Colors. CS, inks, ribbon, SU
This was a card cased from the latest CARDS mag -- designed by Allison Cope. I used SCAL and my Cricut to cut the stars (3/4") and used the SU border punch and CS and markers for the faux stitching and to ink the stamp. Designer paper is from some stash.
Made a great find this last week....more cute digi stamps! Bugaboo stamps! Check 'em out!
