A beautiful couple indeed! We're excited for both Mike and Lisa as they embark on this new journey together. They were married at the Washington DC temple. Congratulations!
The guys looked like they were having a bit of fun while they were waiting ! LOL Thanks for the pics, Alicia! What fun!
Meanwhile, back at the farm -- in the heat of the Central Plains.... where's it's a steamy 106 degrees at the moment (day 43 of 100+ temps) there's been a little bit of crafting going on here while the guys have been gone the past few days.
This cute little pumpkin is from the Pick A Pumpkin Kit at SVGCuts.com and it's got such potential! The link will take you directly to the kit. Can't wait to try the rest of the bunch in the kit! It goes together pretty quickly and I had this one cut and made before I needed to finish setting up for group this morning. So not bad! All papers are Paper Studio or SU! I used some Stickles in the center of the flower for just a little bling. I also used the Birds and Swirls embossing folder on the side panels and inked the edges for a little more texture and dimension.
This is the first time I've inked up this stamp set -- it's been sitting in the drawer for a LONG time! I really should have inked it up sooner. It's an SU! set.
Simple, easy and cute.
I like this funky looking flower. the scalloped edged base is a die cut (Spellbinders) and the others are also die cuts (Spellbinders) including the leaves. The sentiment is from SU! and I used the stamp-a-ma-jig for placement. Love that tool! It's definitely a must have.
Decided to do a little dabbling again with digital scrapbooking. Although the page is for a RS activity... all the components are digital for the internet version and then for the poster version for church, I made a hybrid version. Didn't turn out too bad! I like the hybrid version, just because there's true dimension and you can touch it. :D This is the virtual version. It's pretty close to the hybrid. Picture of the hybrid to come soon.
In the meantime... have a great weekend. Off to enjoy some time with the guys. TJ flies out tomorrow and heads back home. I'm sure his family will be happy to see him.
