but can't decide if she wants to stay or let Summer hang out a little bit longer. :) It's a bit on the nippy side in the mornings around here but warms up nicely in the afternoons.
The leaves are turning colors and a few of the trees have nearly dropped all of their leaves and yet there are some of the trees that haven't started to turn yet. We've been watching the squirrels load up each day. Friday there was one of the "regulars" taking a mouth full of pecans back to his nest. Oh how I wish I could have pulled out my camera quick enough to get a shot of his cute little face! That certainly would have been a keeper! The acorns are nearly gone from the oak trees at the park -- they've stripped them clean! So the squirrels are heading to the nut trees in the surrounding yards now. Maybe this next week while I'm out walking there will be some opportunities for some pictures --
We've done a little bit of crafting the last couple of weeks. Not a whole lot since there's been a large work project that has sort of taken over. However, what crafting I have been doing has been enjoyable and relaxing.
SVGCuts has just come out with a brand new kit -- CHRISTMAS written all over it! I think I'm ready for some holiday crafting. I know I've got to get started! How about you???
This kit is all 3-D ornaments. COOL! Loving that! So today, as soon as I could get the first one cut, here's how it came out.....
Now, I'm loving my Sizzix Eclips. It cuts like a dream. No problem with the different weights of paper either. Added a little bit of bling with some gems and glitter and some Crystal Effects because I'll be darned if I still can't get hold of the right size of tool from Epiphany Crafts yet. One of these days I'll find one here locally.
Now back to getting some cards finished up for someone's upcoming birthday party! Still a little more inking to do -- then they'll be ready to put in the box and ship....
Have a great weekend...
