well, maybe not sugarplums but there were nutcrackers for sure for a couple of days after SVGCuts released this latest file! Oh goodness! How cute are these?

I've been watching as other crafters have shared their versions and been WOWED! Oh, heavens! Beautiful, every single one! Can't wait to try to a couple of the other items in this kit.
I used a paper collection from My Mind's Eye for my version. And cut it with my Sizzix Eclips. Oh, how that cut it like butter!
I switched around a few things in the order of application and used a bit of inking for some texture and added a few gems. I may add a few more on the peplum and I have an idea for his boots and a little more inking to do. More pics to follow later when I finishe up a few more of the little details on his boots and the base.
Mary's tutorial is easy to follow -- but if you've put been putting together any of Mary's 3-D for any length of time, this isn't that difficult to figure out. The pieces are number and her pdf file lays it out quite well and is easy to decide what colors and textures to use in paper.
