We're on the downhill run for the 12 Tags of Christmas and it's been so much fun! And today's tag was just as fun as all the others to make.
It is a blend of hand stamped papers, Echo Park and The Paper Studio. SVGCuts Attic Treasures Collection came in handy again for this tag and I used the font Century Schoolbook to create the text. I loved creating a new image from two stamps in the Holiday Traditions set from PunkinPatchStamps. Layering images, heat embossing and inking on the LOVE "chipboard" piece was mirrored on the Christmas is piece again. I added a punched trim (punch from Stampin' Up!) that I had left over from another project at the bottom of the tag as an added element, but a ribbon cut from the diecutting machine would work well too. As always, I used my eclips to cut the elements for this tag. I just love how I can take an idea from a design and set things up in eCal and let it just cut. It's really easy.
Inks from Stampin' UP!, Ranger, and Versa Mark for this project.
Adhesives from Scotch, Xyron, Glue Dots
Flair from PaperPlayStudios, buttons from stash
Well, company's on their way in... hope you have a wonderful time in your craft room and a wonderful holiday too!
If you're wondering about the story behind this tag.... well, yes, there are several. Hopefully a few of your own have been sparked in your memory banks. Sit down and and if you're so inclined, write them in your journal or diary. You never know when someone else another generation or two down the line might be inspired by what you have to say or have thought. Your wisdom and wit may be just what they needed to hear.
Today's SVGCut's Giveaway is Sponsored by Jinger Adams. She's giving away an entire collection of goodies! AMAZING! There's still a couple of hours to get in on it... so don't delay!
And as Mary would say.... "Happy Crafting!"
