It's nearly time for the countdown to begin... are you making resolutions for the coming year? I'm hoping to keep creating and share what I create with others in a multitude of ways -- with at least one or more RAK a month. I've put it out there -- so that's my way of staying the course.
Saturday's are generally a crafting day around here -- today was pretty laid back and not much crafting until late in the afternoon. I finally got around to doing a little cutting, embossing, gluing and stamping. A dozen Thank you cards finished and ready to write personal notes in tomorrow afternoon and send off on Monday. The red glitter paper was from the scrap pile -- and the white cardstock from Wausau, the dies from Provo Craft (stamp die) and Spellbinders (square #2, tan mat). Stamp (retired), Stampin' Up! Adhesive, Scotch Quick Dry.
After the thank you notes were finished I decided I couldn't finish a day of crafting without firing up the eclips and breaking out at least one SVGCuts file for the day. So today's card was made using the Everyday Cards kit and the Just Because card. I chose the Lost and Found paper stack from My Mind's Eye for this card and the inks and vanilla brads were from Stampin' UP! The lace was from my stash and the bead was as well. Adhesives from Xyron. This is a really quick to do card and I love this kit since it has something for nearly every occasion and it very adaptable.
I hope if you're just stopping by or making this a regular stop, that creating beautiful things is a part of your life. Take a moment or two every day to jot down an idea or two. Spend a few minutes every week if possible creating in the medium(s) you love. Then, don't forget that all important element -- share your talent with someone else. Give them something to count on.
Happy New Year!
