With Spring finally arriving here in the heartland, the number of birthdays every month starts to grow as well.Using a quick cut file you can find here, I used just the base of the treat folder and the extra front flap and removed the rest of the elements from the file. I changed the score lines in the original file to a score/kiss cut before cutting on the eclips2 using eCal2 software. Using a 12 x 12 sheet of paper, you can cut two of these at a time.
Using a stencil, a Bic Mark-it marker and the eBrush with the AD adaptor and a foam cushion pencil grip, I began coloring the flap and the front piece of the folder.
Since the Mark-it dries almost immediately, remove the stencil and add a little more depth in the color along each edge you have stenciled on. Add a little doodle using the white gel pen to some of the stenciled areas for a little more POW.
Add the gift, fold and secure. Add any additional embellishments you desire and your folder is ready to gift! This little folder is perfect for adding a gift card, a seed packet or two, some earrings, a necklace or other jewelry.
Enjoy some creative crafting time this week! Stay tuned... more quick crafts will be posted soon.
