A few weeks ago, I was asked if the eclips could emboss/deboss. The answer is YES!
You'll need:
embossing stylus (choose one that has a large head (the thinner stylus will likely bend or break if you have lots of intricate areas in your design)
embossing material (I used a thin piece of copper metal, but a heavy weight card stock will work too)
Thin craft foam.
Painter's tape

Sizzix Pen Tool with the appropriate collar
Open the software and choose the design. Be sure that the lines are set to draw rather than cut. Remove the blade housing from the machine and replace with the stylus you've set in the pen tool. Secure in place in the machine. ***Using a blade turned upside down in the blade housing is not recommended***
Secure your materials on the mat. I use painter's tape. Load the mat, select cut and let the machine do it's work. If you're using letters and want an embossed look, be sure to reverse them... if you're debossing, you can leave everything normal on your mat.
Wishing you some crafting fun this week. Be sure to share what you make on the eclips/eCal Facebook page.
