In honor of Mother's Day this year, I thought this card might be a good one.
Let's get started:
White Card base (A2 from my stash)
Additional card stock
Digital Image Super Duper Girl (Mo's Digital Pencil)
Oval die (Spellbinders)
Sun Rays Die (Fun Stampers Journey)
mesh (scrap from stash)
Painters tape
eBrush and TB adapter
Tombow Markers
Rainbow Drops (Fun Stampers Journey)
Gold metallic thread (Krenik)
Pop up dots (Fun Stampers Journey)
Shimmer Gold Color Splash (Fun Stampers Journey)
Big Shot (Sizzix)
Cover your work surface. Print and color your digital image as desired. Choose an oval die and center it over the image. Using the recommended sandwich, cut with the Big Shot. Set aside.
Cut the starburst "mask" using the die in the Big Shot as well. Lightly secure your card base to the work surface. place a loop of painters tape on the back of the card base and place on the covered work surface. Secure the mesh to the starburst cut and place over the top of the card base and secure with additional painters tape as needed.
Seat the marker in the eBrush and begin spraying with the lighter color. When you have finished, spray again with the darker color. Remove the mask and spray any additional areas you want covered. I chose to fill in the entire base with color. You can still see the mesh design in some areas. Lightly mist with the Shimmer Gold. Using a heat gun, make sure that all the layers are completely dry.
Create a looped embellishment and secure to the card. Add some pop-up dots to the back of the colored digital image and adhere to the card. Add the last of your embellishments.
Happy Crafting and creating .... and Happy Mother's Day!
