It's the last day of the hop... it's been fun to play and see all the creative tags that have been posted on the FB page. Hope you've enjoyed reviewing the daily additions.
You'll Need:
White cardstock
Pink background paper (Bazzil)
decorative accent paper (Bazzil)
Easter Grass File from Sizzix eShape store
Wiggle eyes (small)
Inktense Watercolor Pencils
Micron .03 black pen
Wired pink dotted ribbon
Glue (Lineco)
foam pop up dots (1/4 inch square)
Sizzix eclips2, eCal3 software
CUTTING & ASSEMBLY:
I'm using a Sizzix eclips2 and the eCal3 software. Select a tag shape from the library and size as desired. Copy and paste a second tag on the mat.
Select the shapes you want to use from the Easter Grass file. Size to fit on the tag.
Add a new page: Create your sentiment using basic shapes and the text tool. Set all text and the heart to print. Change the colors of the elements if desired. Add a rectangle behind the text and heart. The rectangle should be set to cut.
Print and cut the element according to the instructions in the Print 2 Cut screen.
Cut all the elements for your tag using the papers you have selected.
Color the bunny inner ear pieces using the Inktense colored pencils. Use a water brush to spread the color a bit. Add a wash using the same pink pencil to the edges of the egg. Glue the inner ears to the ears of the bunny and the patterned paper to the egg and set aside. Glue the tag shapes together for a little more stability. Let dry before adding any of the additional elements.
Glue the eyes on the bunny, add a nose and other desired details to the face as desired with the Micron pen. Glue the bunny and egg together and add foam dots to the back of that combined image. Secure to the tag. Add ribbon and the sentiment. Your tag is complete. I wanted a little shimmer to this, so I added a few strokes of a Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
Thanks for joining us.... it's been a fun week. Hoping you've been inspired and might create a few of your own. Have a great weekend and a very happy Easter.
