This was a very quick make, which will be high on my list for a quick gift in the future. The FlipTop Box is from Simply Crafty SVGs. You'll find the box here. Assembly is easy - just refer to the video on the website. Be sure to add a closure for a more finished look. I didn't have the right size magnet, so a hook and loop circle was used.
I used paper from an old stack from The Paper Studio called, The Haberdashery. I chose this paper for the kraft paper on one side and the collaged images on the other. It was perfect for the look I was hoping to achieve and did. Not sure if you'll find it in the store any longer, but there are similar digital vintage collage versions on the internet.
I wanted to include some notecards and a pen in the box for a quick gift and found a couple of Dad's old fountain pens (still in working order). The antique floral image was found on the internet and was a free download. I printed ten notecards on ivory parchment paper. Added ivory envelopes and tied the bundled cards and envelopes with some organza ribbon. The pen was placed in a cream colored box designed by Sandy at Simply Crafty SVGs (Glitter Pen Box). It was a perfect fit for the pen.
When you've filled the interior of the box with your goodies, add a ribbon and a small tag.
Hope you'll have some creative fun in the days to come, if not today! Enjoy! And as always, thanks for stopping by.
