I was so excited to get to attend Creativation this weekend! OH Heavens! Crafter Overload! New products! Meeting friends I've only known through social media -- but never met in person! Feeling the crafting love for sure.
I arrived in Phoenix Saturday afternoon after a week in Tucson.... tired, but happy to be able to be there.
First stop of the day Saturday afternoon - was at Sizzix, of course! Loved meeting Lynda Kanase and the rest of the designers. There were filming with Stephanie Barnard when I arrived at the booth. And I'd just missed Tim Holtz whose booth is next door. Make and Take with Lynda Kanase was a fun card using her succulent dies! Shannon, Sarah and Kevin, thanks for taking some time as well. This picture was taken on Sunday since Saturday's attempt didn't turn out. Thanks for taking some time for a retake, Lynda.
Next stop was at Richard Garay's booth. Lovely new dies and more. May need to add some of the doll dies to my collection. Going back today to take a closer look. Rose and I have been friends on FB for about a year as we're both on a Fun Stampers Journey! Richard was away from the booth when I visited, but I'm grateful to have met Rose in person as our previous attempts have not worked out.
Yolie Burke needs extra kudos! She's the one who made it possible for me to be at the show. I'm so grateful for her generosity and friendship. What a joy it was to meet her and her husband at the Pink and Main booth.
Mitsyana Wright just happened to be at the DCWV booth as I was looking for the tags I'd submitted for their display on their booth wall.
I finally found one of the three. The "bar" was too busy to look for the other two tags, so this will have to suffice. Happy to have had the opportunity to participate in their display. I'll be sharing a tutorial for the tags in a February post... so stay tuned.
So much to see and experience. I'm really going to have to save my pennies to get here next year. Fingers crossed!
