Gotta love these shutter mechanism cards! So happy that The Artistry liked it too. This card also features an EZ Sound Module, button activated from InviteByVoice.com. Bonus: there's an SVG / PDF file you can download as well for the shutter mechanism. Hope you'll stop by!
It's that time of year and we have some painting projects that need a few extra hands to help make it happen. That wheelchair ramp is a long one and it's needs a bit of refreshing! I figured that using some fun invites would make the job seem a little more fun and we'd enjoy the company as we tackled the ramp. You'll find more of the details on The Artistry!
And while you're there -- be sure to check out this amazing 210+ Font Bundle! There are definitely some keepers in this one! All have commercial use licenses! This file was used for an April challenge in on the paper crafting groups on Facebook. Thought I'd better get it done early in the month since the rest of the month has filled up fast with other crafting makes and a little bit of re-organization and some yard work thrown in as well.
The paper for the basic structure is from AC cardstock and the digital Teal damask paper is from a NitWit Collection called Porch Swing. The diamond pot file is not available outside the challenge group... all pieces were cut using the Sizzix eclips 2 and eCal3
Hoping you have scheduled some time in your creative space this week and for the coming week. And thanks again for stopping by.

Today's the final day for the 5 Days of Spring Tag Challenge for this year. It's been a fun week and I hope you've taken the time to peruse all the fabulous tags created by our #ecalmakers on the FB page.
I fell in love with this digital stamp from Polkadoodles! No rain in the forecast for today, but we could sure use some!
I imported the png file to eCal, resized, set to print 2 cut print. Copied and pasted 2 additional images since I would need them to do the layering for this tag. All of the images fit into a 6 inch square and I printed on white AC smooth cardstock. I decided to do the fussy cutting myself for the images since the head, leg and water splash needed to be cut separately. The tag is from the library and cut using the eclips.
The coloring of the image and wash on the tag was done using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. I added a crochet thread string for the tie on the hat and used a drop of glue to secure it front and center. When dry, assemble using pop up dots and a bit of glue here and there as needed.
Add a few drops of Crystal Nuvo drops to the water splashes for a final touch.
This is the final tag in this year's series. Looking forward to next year's as well. Be sure to pop by the FB page and review all of the submissions for this week. And if you're so inclined, please join us in an upcoming challenge on the page. The more the merrier.
Set aside some time to be creative! Your spirit will definitely be nourished.
But the flowers and buds on the trees are still a bit slow in blooming. Probably a good thing since there's a frost expected on Monday. What has been fun is creating this series of vintage postcards. Stop by the Artistry to take a look at the full article. Even the frames are paper!
Day 4 reveal is underway! Thanks in advance for stopping by to check out the new tag and to catch up on the rest of the tags, drop by the FB page for more.
This tag started out on stark white AC smooth cardstock. Once again, dipping into a 6 in pad of paper for some additional interest, 2 strips were cut from 2 papers and secured to the tag. Dry-brushing some white acrylic over the tag, softened the papers a bit and pulled the two patterns together. Edges of the tag were blended using some Old Paper distress ink.
The focal piece for this tag is from Dreaming Tree's Lavender Greetings. Cut from white cardstock, the 3 pieces of the image are colored using Ohuhu markers and Craftwell's eBrush. The colors are rich and vivid.
Once the coloring was finished, a small embossing tool was used to add a little more texture. If desired for a little shimmer, add a touch of Pearl Ex to the floral portion of the cuts and a few drops of Crystal Nuvo.
A wrapped ribbon on the stems finishes off the focal piece. Add a few mini gems (nail art kit), sequins and Nuvo drops as desired to finish it off. Let dry and add your ribbon hanger.
